Toxic Shame was born when the paths of Jon Buckley and Deon du Toit crossed in 1995. Both being extremely talented musicians, they found that they had plenty in common and decided to get together one evening per week to write and record songs purely for their own enjoyment.
During their time together, the band recorded 9 albums worth of material, and 5 of the albums made it to commercial release.
